Wine Collector convicted for selling fake fine wines

An Indonesian wine collector out of Arcadia, CA was convicted of selling fake fine wines earlier this week. The fake wines he sold added up to about 1.3 million dollars according to investigators on the case. He was also convicted of fraud for manufacturing the fake wines in his kitchen and claiming that they were expensive authentic fine wines. Police suspected that the man had converted his house into a counterfeit wine factory. Fortunately, the man made some mistakes while making some of the wines and allowed for his buyers to catch on to the fraudulent wines, which ultimately led to his arrest. The Indonesian man was charged with felony fraud and is scheduled to appear in court later this month. You could contact one of our highly trained agents at Bail Bonds Arcadia for more information of how the arresting process works and how they decide on the bail amount for cases such as this one.
